Sorry we’ve been so quiet recently!
There has been a lot going on behind the scenes, which we will go into in more detail in the future.
Many more friends and supporters have been added and we would like to give them a huge welcome!
We are also in the process of updating the Music Heals Website.

We will be auctioning some amazing items on our ebay from the 15th-25th february so keep an eye out for more information on the items we will have up, we’ll be posting more closer to the time!

We are pleased to announce that from the 30th July – 8th August you will have the chance to bid on stage clothes worn by our patron Doug Aldrich!

This is an amazing opportunity and we’d like to thank Doug very much for helping us out!

Music Heals’ First ever live event!

On June 18th 2011 MUSIC HEALS children`s charity hosted their first LIVE event in aid of
seriously ill/ terminally ill children @ JABEZ CLEGG in Manchester

Setting up the whole event was a team effort with amazing support from many friends of the charity, without whose input and kindness we simply could not have done this.

From creating the artwork for event posters to blowing up the balloons for decoration on the night…
everyone did their little bit.. … Huge thanks to our friend Ronnie Soo for all his continued support and for being our photographer for the event. Big thank you`s to our friend June Stevenson of Hytch a Ryde for coming all the way from Scotland!!!

We were delighted to have two fantastic Tribute bands entertaining us royally…
Many thanks to Ian Hill and STATE OF QUO boys, and CARL WOOTON and WS UK -the tribute- boys
for the great music. Everyone that donated items for the SILENT AUCTION…
Namely ROY MATTHEWS, IAN HILL, and our amazing main patron DOUG ALDRICH for all his gifts..signatures..his time..his Love.

It was altogether a fun evening, with a very warm enjoyable atmosphere..
People coming out to enjoy great music and to bid generously in the SILENT AUCTION that offered really
fabulous items, and people fought over some things..
Especially over 2 meet and greet passes/tickets for STATUS QUO..these alone made the awesome sum of £600!
The enthusiasm was so great to see as ALL THE MONEY, of course, was to go to the children we support! During the whole evening it was plain that everyone KNEW why we were there…

To raise funds..and create smiles.. ONE NOTE AT A TIME…

The final result from monies raised through the live event : £1367

Thank you once again to all that made this such a success.

MUSIC HEALS ebay auction :

MUSIC HEALS held a very special auction on ebay from june 7th to june 17th to raise funds for our cause.

Amongst the items on offer were 2 guitars one signed by STATUS QUO and one donated and signed by MH patron DOUG ALDRICH (Whitesnake)/ co signed by DAVID COVERDALE (Whitesnake)

This auction raised the staggering amount of : £1640.33

We thank everyone that bid and congratulate the winners.

Grants given by MUSIC HEALS from monies raised during Ebay auction/ Live event

Thanks to these donations we were able to grant the following items to deserving causes:

St. Oswalds Hospice (http://www.stoswaldsuk.org/)

A Yamaha PSR-E323 keyboard, a 160GB Apple iPod and Sony docking station.






Francis House Children’s Hospice (http://www.francishouse.org.uk/)

A Roland FP-4 Digital Stage Piano with height adjustable stand.



We had a very generous private donation of a brand new electric guitar and amp for Francis House!

Music Heals has also donated 3 children’s 3/4 size guitar, One to go to Francis House, another to St Oswald’s and the last to go to Claire House



MUSIC HEALS trusts that all these donations will put many smiles on children`s faces..and bring much joy into young hearts..
